Northern Busway
Armitage were chosen ahead of both New Zealand and international companies by the infrastructure partners brought together to bring Auckland an exclusive Busway to feed the North Shore of Auckland and the Rodney District to the North these being The New Zealand Transport Agency (formerly Transit New Zealand), North Shore City Council and the Auckland Regional Transport Authority (ARTA). Armitage were tasked with providing a technical design that encompassed ITS and security elements to support the monitoring of the nodal stations and Busway implementing it within the project’s timeframes and then providing ongoing maintenance and support.
