NZTA MA 2677 Auckland Regional Maintenance Contract
Armitage have held this important regional contract in its various guises since 1994. The contract has increased in both scope and scale over the years as Auckland’s CCTV and communication network has increased across the region into all regional jurisdictions and more latterly under the Auckland Council. The contract is managed by the New Zealand Transport Agency for the council and encompasses upgrade, planned preventative maintenance and emergency 24 hour callout servicing. Upgrades through the years have included the greater use of fibre optic cable, wireless microwave and radio frequency equipment, CCTV matrix expansion, wider use of transport focused equipment rather than security and digitalisation.
